Kangaroo Island (ebook)
Kangaroo Island – a wildlife haven
Kangaroo Island is renowned for its native wildlife — the koalas are disease-free, the kangaroos roam freely and it is home to one of Australia’s rarest little marsupials, as well as the highly endangered Glossy-black Cockatoo subspecies.
On 3rd January 2020, Kangaroo Island had the worst bushfires in its history, which burnt nearly half of the Island, threatening the extinction of these, and many other important species. I was fortunate to have visited the island just 2 months before the fires and this book is a photographic record of what I saw.
